The AGM Taipan V2 Thermal Monocular series combines advanced thermal imaging performance with the features users have been asking for. Built around a high-sensitivity 256×192, 12-micron thermal detector with sub-35mK NETD performance, the Taipan V2 delivers reliable heat detection in complete darkness, adverse weather, and challenging terrain. Major upgrades include a removable rechargeable 18650 battery for extended field use and a new 90 degree tilt sensor that automatically powers off the display to help conserve battery life. Additional features include a fast 50Hz refresh rate, F1.0 objective lens, 1280×960 LCOS display, 16GB of onboard storage, Wi-Fi connectivity through the AGM Connect App, USB-C external power capability, four color palettes, and an IP67 waterproof rating.
